Research Assistants

Opportunities to work in the lab as a paid or volunteer research assistant (RA) are available.

RAs occur during the academic year and summer months.

RAs work directly with faculty supervisors on projects within the advisor’s area of expertise.

If you are interested in completing a fourth year project (PHED 4995) then contact one of the faculty supervisors (Dr. Hansen, Dr. McAuliffe, & Dr. Law).

Students involved in our research projects will gain experience with ethics applications, creating research proposals, participant recruitment, data collection, data coding, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and the presentation of the project at a professional conference.
